With its high roof line, the body creates an especially generous sensation of spaciousness in the interior. Optional xLine details in Satin Aluminum on the body reinforce the athletic look and the visual association with the X family. They also give the front and rear their distinctive appearance. These characteristic features, which are also available in numerous exclusive paint finishes, additionally afford protection against chip damage during off-road excursions. LED LIGHT DESIGN.

You can recognise the BMW X1 even when it is completely dark: Its unmistakable face with six eyes clearly identifies it as a member of the X family. And during the day too, the BMW X1 is clearly visible, thanks to its standard-feature LED daytime running lights. If required, the extended functions of the LED headlights with cornering lights offer a bright and efficient Bi-LED light for low beam and high beam. The cornering lights in LED technology allow an adaptive beam distribution with increased illumination of the side of the road in urban traffic. At the same time, LEDs use up to 50% less energy than conventional bulbs – with a significantly higher lifetime and enhanced illumination range.

PANORAMA GLASS ROOF.

The Panorama glass roof provides mesmerizing views and allows a great deal of light into the interior, lending it a particularly spacious and open ambience. If the sunlight is too bright, the roller sunblind can be simply and smoothly closed. With slide and lift functions, the Panorama glass roof provides a variety of options for great ventilation. If the glass roof is put into venting position, the sunblind is automatically rolled back to allow the desired airflow. And the integrated wind deflector automatically springs into action to minimize turbulence when driving with the roof open.

ADJUSTABLE REAR SEATS.

A key feature in the outstanding versatility of the BMW X1 are the adjustable rear seats, which slide longitudinally in a 60:40 ratio. This makes the cargo space even more adaptable – you have the choice between more legroom for the rear passengers and an increased luggage volume. An easy-to-reach handle below the seat allows convenient adjustment of the second row. The angle of the backrest with its 40:20:40 split is also adjustable. This means an additional gain in comfort for the passengers and a further extension to the luggage compartment.
