The 2019 BMW X2 is a small luxury SUV that features three main trims, advanced driver aids, and has a unique style compared to the rest of the BMW SUV collection. There are plenty of upgrade and performance packages available as well.
Trims
The sDrive28I is the front wheel drive trim and the xDrive28i is the all-wheel drive option. They both have a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that cranks out 228 horsepower. These two trims of the 2019 BMW X2 also share 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, automatic wipers, front and rear parking sensors, driver seat memory functions, power adjustable front seats, and dual zone automatic climate control. Standard safety features include: a rearview camera, automatic high beams, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning along with automatic emergency braking.
BMW’s Connected Drive services like iDrive offer an infotainment interface on a 6.5-inch touchscreen, and Bluetooth connectivity. Apple CarPlay is also available. The third trim, the all-wheel drive M35i uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder engine as well, but has more horsepower at 302.
Packages
The M Sport X Convenience package includes: various sporty upgrades, aerodynamic improvements, sport tuned transmission, and an M sport steering wheel with wheel mounted shift paddles. The Premium package for the 2019 BMW X2 features a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, heads up display, a larger touchscreen at 8.8 inches, and a touchpad infotainment controller.
