The performance BMW M8 and i8 hybrid series are some of the most notable members of the 2019 BMW lineup. We are proud of this year’s lineup and have given Mississauga drivers some expert insights into two of our favourite vehicles in the 2019 class.
M8
The 2019 BMW M8 has a competition package that sharpens the suspension, and increases acceleration. A 4.4-liter, M Turbo V-8 engine produces a 617 horsepower with 553 lb. ft. of torque; a 17 horsepower improvement over the standard M8. Rigid engine mounts make for ferocious gear changes and sharp steering. The M performance package makes the M8 as similar as it possibly can be to the M8 GTE racing car, and an excellent addition to the 2019 BMW lineup. Carbon features include: carbon fiber radiator grille, engine cover, sport break, and a pro steering wheel with carbon fiber shift paddles.
I8 Hybrid
The i8 looks and performs like a futuristic space craft. This hybrid is able to combine saving the eco friendly features with sporty stylings, luxurious interior, and excellent speed. A 0-60mph in 4.2 seconds for a hybrid is rare, but that’s what makes the i8 an important addition to the 2019 BMW lineup. The compact BMW i3 is the relative of the i8 and is a fully electric vehicle that can go a staggering 180 miles on a single charge. The charging supremely efficient and allows drivers to get an 80% charge in 30 minutes.
